New Developments and Applications of X-Ray Capillary Optics

Capillary optics have found broad research and industrial applications in X-ray analytic. In the present paper, the use of mono- and polycapillary optics for X-ray beam shaping at synchrotron beamlines and in combination with laboratory sources is described. In particular, a module for in situ XRD in SEMs is considered in detail and corresponding application examples are presented.
