摘要
We conducted this study under controlled conditions to describe the biological cycle of Gonatopus bartletti, Olmi 1984 and to determine its rates of parasitism and predation over nymphs and adults of Dalbulus maidis (Delong and Wolcott, 1923). Gonatopus bartletti needed 11.9 days since egg to least larval instar. The pupa stage required 13.3 days for females and 13.9 days for males. Female adults lived 21.6 days, while male adults survived one day. We reported for first time that females of G. bartletti are predators and their predatory effect is major than their parasitism. Females parasitized and predated since the first days of their eclosion, the percentage of parasitism was similar (13 %) in nymphs and adults of D. maidis. On the other hand, the predation for nymphs was 22.6 % and for adults was 26.3%.
