First multi-center experience with a novel mobile circulatory support system in cardiac surgery

Aims: Advancements in technology have led to a minimized, portable, semi-automated heart-lung machine for patients with hemodynamic instability requiring circulatory support. We report on the first multi-center series of patients receiving circulatory and pulmonary support with a mobile cardiopulmonary bypass device during cardiac surgery.
