Health services research (HSR) is a cross-disciplinary field which essentially seeks answers to the question: "Ok, so we know what should be happening in our healthcare system, but what is actually happening?". In this presentation, Professor Thomson will describe the findings of recent dental HSR work with children and adolescents, together with their implications for the oral care of that age group.
