Amos II Java Interfaces

This report describes the external interfaces between Amos II and the programming lan- guage Java. There are also interfaces between Amos II and the programming languages C and Lisp, documented separately. There are mainly two ways to interface Amos II with Java programs: Either a Java program calls Amos II through the callin interface, or for- eign AmosQL functions are defined by Java methods through the callout interface. The combination is also possible whereforeign functions in Java call Amos II back through the callin interface.
