From Frames to Inference

This paper describes a computational formalism that captures structural rela- tionships among participants in a dy- namic scenario. This representation is used to describe the internal structure of FrameNet frames in terms of parameters for active event simulations. We apply our formalism to the commerce domain and show how it provides a flexible means of handling linguistic perspective and other challenges of semantic representation.
