摘要
The World-Wide-Web (WWW) provides a simple, but strong, approach to data integration by enabling pages to link to in- formation and data physically distributed on dierent servers. More sophisticated data integration, however, requires spe- cialized tools and might not even be possible on some pro- prietary data formats. Activity-Based Computing is a top- down approach which takes advantage of existing applica- tions which are integrated into 'activities'. This paper in- troduces the ABWWW extension for ABC for which brings support for activities on the WWW, thereby introducing a novel integration technique for heterogeneous sources of information.
