Postmenopausal bleeding and nipple congestion heralding ovarian metastases of a primary colonic adenocarcinoma

TO THE EDITOR: A 67-yr-old Caucasian female was diagnosed with a substenosing sigmoidal tumor, which was removed with curative intentions because there was no evidence for metastases after classical staging. Anatomopathological examination of the resected tumor and intraoperative macroscopic findings identified a colonadenocarcinoma pT3N2MxG3L0V0, Dukes C2.
