摘要
4G is the index that refers to the upcoming wave of extremely high-speed mobile technologies that will be used to shift and replace current 3G networks. The two top challengers are LTE and WiMAX. LTE and WiMAX both are IP based networks that are replaced from similar but incompatible technologies. Clear and Sprint cables are currently providing 4G WiMAX service in the USA, whereas AT&T and Verizon have promised to the usage of LTE and are leading their own fourth generation networks. The aim of this paper is to distinguish the contents of 4G from 3G technology abstract view, current market benefits of 4G services and its future growth rate.
