Specifying E-commerce Systems Based on an Aspect-Oriented Model

E-commerce systems have many crosscutting concerns. Separating these crosscutting concerns in system specification can achieve better modularity, trace ability, and maintainability. An aspect model is adopted to specify the e-commerce systems. The business functionality is specified as the base system, while crosscutting concerns are specified as aspects. Through the weaving provided by the aspect model, the whole specification of the e-commerce system can be achieved.
