The Puppeteer - Directing Software Engineering Projects

摘要
Abstract—Software engineering projects are often used to teach complex aspects of software engineering. It is well-known that these courses are difficult to run. In this paper we address one aspect that can be used to reduce differences between projects and project groups to more easily find the balance of "challenging but possible". We describe the role of the "puppeteer" and present four communication patterns that we use in an international software engineering project course.
