个人简介
My areas of research specifically focus on the intersection of learning methods for sensor processing and robotics, developing novel machine learning algorithms and formulations towards solving some of the more difficult perception problems in these areas. I am especially interested in the areas of machine and deep learning for perception focusing on 1) deep learning for multi-modal fusion and robot perception, 2) concept discovery and continual learning through unsupervised and transfer learning, and 3) distributed perception and knowledge sharing in heterogeneous robot teams. Responsible for growing a portfolio of basic research (at GT) to applied projects (at GTRI), including finding, developing, and leading funding opportunities from various agencies such as NSF, ONR, DARPA, the IC community, etc.
