Zhiyong Hong

Zhiyong Hong was born in China, in 1981. He received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai, China, in 2003, and the master’s and Ph.D. degrees from Cambridge University, in 2007. He was a Professor with Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His research interests include HTS current limiters, HTS motors, superconducting DC induction heater, machines, transformer, and power transmission lines.
