个人简介
Alex is an Associate Professor in Robotics and AI at University College London, UK. He is a passionate technological inventor by heart, and an internationally recognised scientist in the Robotics & Learning community.
He has a track record of working closely with hardware development, leading teams for developing & deploying advanced robotics control software in various real-world platforms – ranging from embedded firmware control, optimization-based real-time software, and deep learning-based robot control policies using multi-modal sensing.
His project experience includes: the EU FP7 project, EPSRC-Industry funded UK Robotics & AI Hubs, and EU H2020 project:
FP7 European projects AMARSi and WALK-MAN
DARPA Robotics Challenge (DRC), WalkMan-DRC team
Offshore Robotics for Certification of Assets – ORCA Hub
Towards Resident Robots – ORCA Stream B
Future AI and Robotics Hub for Space – FairSpace Hub
Enhancing Healthcare with Assistive Robotic Mobile Manipulation – EU H2020 HARMONY
He is supporting technological developments for UK deep tech companies, focusing on developing cutting-edge technologies and capturing future market shares.
