自我简介 My research focuses on data analysis of cancer genomic data. I am a trained bioinformatician with more than 10 years of experience. Since 2011 I joined MD Anderson and have been extensively involved in The Cancer Genome Atlas project. In addition to contributing to the TCGA Glioblastoma and lower grade glioma analyses, I analyzed genomic instability by examining DNA breakpoints in GBM. I performed a longitudinal analysis of GBM recurrence, in which I extensively investigated the clonal architecture of GBM. Since 2013 I have worked on the TCGA adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC) project as data and analysis coordinator. This project involves a comprehensive analysis of ACC molecular data generated by our consortium. My research comprehends data including DNA/RNA sequencing, copy number and methylation. I programed the RNA sequencing pipeline PRADA (http://bioinformatics.mdanderson.org/main/PRADA:Overview). A highlight of the tool is the high sensitivity and specificity of gene fusion detection.
