My research interests lie at the intersection of computer graphics and computer vision; my focus is to make scene acquisition and rendering be efficient, practical and realistic. My research has been recognized by Powell Bundle Fellowship 2015 and Adobe Research Fellowship 2019. My work has covered rendering, relighting, view synthesis, appearance modeling, appearance acquisition, 3D reconstruction, hair modeling, and light fields.
