Our lab focuses on translational research of neurological diseases. We are unraveling the molecular mechanisms underlying the microRNA-mediated neuronal differentiation in diseases, such as Autism and Alzheimer’s disease (AD). We are studying the physiological roles of microRNAs in normal development and diseases and developing miRNAs as biomarkers with therapeutic potential in neurological disease treatment. We are also establishing the neuropathophysiology crosstalk between AD and PD.
