Yvette Kuiper currently works at the Department of Geology and Geological Engineering, Colorado School of Mines. Yvette and her students primarily conduct field-based research. They use detailed structural mapping and analysis, geochronology and geochemistry to investigate tectonic processes associated with past orogenies and plate boundaries. Current research areas include the northern Appalachians, Morocco, and regions in and around the Colorado Front Range.
