Her research has been published in leading medicine, health policy, and economics journals such as the New England Journal of Medicine, and has been featured in ABC news, the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, and on National Public Radio. She has led several large-scaled projects with funding from ARC, NHMRC, the U.S. Institute of Medicine (IOM), the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH), the Agency for Health Care Research and Quality, and the Commonwealth Fund, and has received multiple international awards. She is an Associate Editor of the Journal of Mental Health Policy and Economics, and an appointed method/statistical reviewer at JAMA Network Open. She has served as a consulting advisor to Australian Victorian's Department of Health and Human Services, the IOM and the US Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, and a reviewer for the NIH, Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute, and the US Medicare Payment Advisory Commission.
