Yun-Ling Zheng

Dr. Yun-Ling Zheng is currently a tenured associate professor in the Departments of Oncology and Biostatistics, Chief, Laboratory of Telomere Health at Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center, Georgetown University Medical Center. Dr. Zheng graduated from Cambridge University with a Ph.D. in human genetics in 1994 and received her MPH degree in Epidemiology and biostatistics from Johns Hopkins University, Bloomberg School of Public Health in 2004. She was a Research Fellow at the Laboratory of Human Carcinogenesis, National Cancer Institute, Bethesda, USA from 1999 to 2004. Dr. Zheng’s research focuses on the role of telomere and telomerase in cancer, gene-environmental interaction in cancer risk, biomarkers for cancer risk and for monitoring cancer recurrence and treatment response.
