个人简介
I am working in the research field related to high-energy nuclear data which are needed for various accelerator-related applications, such as accelerator-driven transmutation systems, advanced cancer therapy with particle beams, space development, etc.: measurements of cross section data and their theoretcial analysis based on advanced nuclear reaction models. Also, I am doing research and development of a new type of accelerator-driven neutron source in the MeV region using Kyushu university tandem acclerator and studying cosmic-ray neutron induced soft error phenomena in semiconductor devices. My resposibility for eduaction is to teach and supervise students not only in the graduate course of the department of advanced energy engineering science but also in the undergraduate cources of the department of energy science and technology. As my social activities, I join some working groups in the Japanese Nuclear Data Committee, and teach the knowledge and topics on radiation to junior high and senior high school students in cooperation with the Japan Atomic Energy Relations Organization.
