Yu Zhang(张宇)

Yu Zhang is an associate professor in the Institute of Modern Mechanical Transmission Engineering Technology of Central South University of Forestry and Technology since July 2016. He graduated from the State Key Laboratory of High Performance and Complex Manufacturing of Central South University with a doctor's degree. He mainly engaged in the research of manufacturing theory and technology of complex transmission parts, so far, have more than 6 years of practical experience in spiral bevel and hypoid gear equipment manufacturing enterprises. He is currently in charge of one youth project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and one youth project of the Hunan Provincial Natural Scinece Foundation of China, and participated in several other national projects. As the first author, He has published 14 papers in important academic journals such as Machinery and Machine Theory, Journal of Central South University and Journal of Mechanical Engineering and one monograph. He was awarded the Young Backbone Teacher of Hunan Province in 2020.
