You-Ze Cho (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.S. degree in electronics engineering from Seoul National University, South Korea, in 1982, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, in 1985 and 1988, respectively. Since 1989, he has been with Kyungpook National University (KNU), South Korea, where he is currently a Professor with the School of Electronics Engineering. He was a visiting researcher in Toronto, Canada. From March 2002 to February 2003, he worked at the National Institute of Standards and Technology, USA, as a Guest Researcher. In 2017, he served as the President of Korean Institute of Communications and Information Sciences (KICS). His research interests include mobility management and traffic engineering for wireless and mobile networks and transport protocols for the future internet.
