个人简介
My advisors are Sadegh Talebi and Christian Igel. I am also a member of the Denmark Learning Theory and Applications (DeLTA) Lab. My Ph.D. project concerns adaptive learning and control of complex stochastic systems in pharmaceutical production and is in cooperation with Novo Nordisk, where I am supervised by Merete Bang. Before that, I studied artificial intelligence at the University of Amsterdam. During my time in Amsterdam, I worked with Herke van Hoof and Eric Nalisnick in Amsterdam Machine Learning Lab (AMLab). I also worked with Diederik Roijers at the AI Lab of Vrije Universiteit Brussel. Before that, I studied statistics at Columbia University and Jinan University.
Research Interests
My goal is to build robust, reliable, and scalable machine learning systems that could be valuable to real-world applications. Since our world is noisy and our models are barely correct, probabilistic modeling provides a principled framework to incorporate such uncertainty when making a prediction or decision. On the other hand, to build such systems, reinforcement learning plays an important role as most systems are interactive and requires sequential decision-making . To this end, I am broadly interested in the following areas and their intersections:

Deep learning
Causality
