My research focuses on biological responses and acclimation in aquatic animals exposed to environmental change, especially in those farming species most affected by human activities. I am driven by these questions how can we improve the productivity and sustainability of aquaculture in a wide range of production settings through understanding animal physiology and can aquaculture be used to help secure future marine ecosystems in the face of climate change impacts?
