Bio
Yapeng Wang received the master's degree in electronics and communication engineering and the Ph.D. degree in cartography and geographic information systems from the Institute of Remote Sensing and Digital Earth, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China, in 2017 and 2020, respectively.
She joined the National Satellite Meteorological Center (National Center for Space Weather), Beijing, as a Research Assistant, in 2020. Since 2020, she has been participating in the ground data processing system construction of the FengYun satellite project and responsible for the algorithm research of ozone products based on hyperspectral infrared atmospheric sounder (HIRAS) and geostationary interferometric infrared sounder (GIIRS). Her research interests include atmospheric components retrieval from hyperspectral satellite data, mainly involved in the development of ozone precursors and ozone profiles retrieval algorithms.
