In 1999, she was the first to successfully establish the Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis (PGD) technique in China, and then conducted a series of researches in related fields as the leader of the PGD project team. She is currently the Vice-Chairman of the Youth Committee of the Reproductive Medicine Branch of the Chinese Medical Association and a member of the Reproductive Medicine Branch of the Guangdong Medical Association.
