个人简介
His major research interest focuses on developing theoretical and numerical methods to study the behavior of smart materials at different length scales. He is also interested in piezoelectric energy harvesting, and has published works which are well recognized in this field, including several highly-cited papers. Prof. Shu has been the recipient of the Outstanding Research Award from the National Science Council of Taiwan and Distinguished Young Scholar Award from the Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics. He has been recognized in the Top 2% Scientists Worldwide in a study from Stanford University in both the categories of "career-long impact (1960-2020)" and "citation impact during the single calendar year 2020"
