My research focuses on advanced porous materials for clean energy sources, which includes but not limited to zeolites, mesoporous materials, heterogeneous catalysis, materials synthesis and characterization, and microscopy. I am currently a postdoctoral fellow with Prof. Enrique Iglesia at University of California, Berkeley, where I mainly work on zeolite/metal bifunctional catalysts for Fischer-Tropsch synthesis. Before joining UC Berkeley, I obtained my Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota with Prof. Michael Tsapatsis as my Ph.D. adviser. Starting August 2015, I will be working as Assistant Professor in Chemical Engineering at the Pennsylvania State University.
