I am a Software Engineer at Google working on developing efficient algorithms to analyze videos at scale. Prior to joining Google, I was a research scientist at Snap Inc. where I was involved in development of a client-side deep learning library, realtime semantic segmentation models, realtime deformable object tracking models.

During my PhD, I developed the Supervised Descent Method. This method and its variants have become the industrial standard for facial feature detection and tracking. Facebook acquired this technology in Nov 2016. SDM is the face tracking technology powering the lenses in Facebook and Instagram apps to bring joy to their 2 billion users worldwide.
