个人简介
My research interests are in Natural Language Processing and Data Mining, emphasizing applications to Biological and Health Sciences. My current research theme is developing effective and scalable algorithms and systems for automatically understanding massive text data to enable and accelerate biomedical discovery. My research has primarily focused on two directions: (1) information extraction with minimum human supervision and (2) literature-based knowledge discovery in biomedicine.
My short-term goal is to develop knowledge-enhanced, condition-aware, and multi-modal NLP and text mining approaches for scientific discovery. My long-term goal is to achieve AI-driven knowledge discovery with real-world impact on various applications, such as information systems for health care and biomedicine, AI-driven systems for molecular discovery and synthetic strategy designing, knowledge graph construction, web mining, environmental monitoring, smart city, and cyber-physical systems.
