Jian-wei Xu

An epidemiologist, Yunnan Institute of Parasitic Diseases (YIPD), People’s Republic of China Mr Xu graduated from London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, London School of Economics and Political Science (an inter-college student), with a MSc in Control of Infectious Diseases. Now he is a professor of YIPD and Dali University, and engaged in malaria elimination. He is also a membership of The WHO technical expert group on malaria surveillance, monitoring and evaluation at present. Mr Xu has worked in malaria control along the China-Myanmar border for 29 years.
