个人简介
Xiyong Huang received the Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (Hons.) and Ph.D. degrees in biomedical optics from the Auckland University of Technology (AUT), Auckland, New Zealand, in 2016 and 2019, respectively.
He has over five years of research experience in the fields of mechanical and optical engineering. He worked at the AUT’s Institute of Biomedical Technologies as a Research Fellow in 2020 before joining the Robinson Research Institute, Victoria University of Wellington, Wellington, New Zealand, for another postdoctoral position. Since January 2021, he has been working on the development and implementation of optical fiber sensors for distributed temperature change monitoring at cryogenic, high-voltage, and magnetic field environments. The research is in collaboration with common fusion systems (CFS) and could have a significant application in preventing a quench in high-temperature superconducting magnets. Dr. Huang has published quality papers in Annals of Biomedical Engineering, several journals under OSA, SPIE, and IEEE. One of his paper was highlighted as the editor’s pick in the Journal of the Optical Society of America A.
He is an Active Peer Reviewer of Photochemistry and Photobiology, Scientific Reports, and Superconductor Science and Technology.
