Xinglong Zhang (Member, IEEE) was born in Anhui, China, in 1990. He received the B.E. degree in mechanical engineering from Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China, in 2011, the M.S. degree in mechanical engineering from the PLA University of Science and Technology, Nanjing, China, in 2014, and the Ph.D. degree in system and control from the Politecnico di Milano, Milan, Italy, 2018. He is currently an Associate Professor with the College of Intelligence Science and Technology, National University of Defense Technology, Changsha, China. His research interests include learning-based model predictive control, and adaptive dynamic programming and their applications in automotive systems. Dr. Zhang is a member of IEEE CIS Technical Committee on Adaptive Dynamic Programming and Reinforcement Learning.
