实验室采用(在体和脑片)电生理、光遗传学、双光子激光细胞显微成像与神经疾病转基因小鼠模型,解析海马-大脑皮层功能性环路(特别是γ-氨基丁酸GABA能抑制性环路)的长程和局部神经连接(突触)的基本规则、及其学习或早期经验对环路连接的修饰机制(“关键期”可塑性),以阐明学习和脑可塑性的神经环路机制、以及神经精神发育性疾病(瑞特综合症、精神分裂症)发生和发展相关的异常环路机理。
