Xiaobo Liao

I am an adult cardiac surgeon and have spent 10 years working in cardiovascular surgery, with recurring experiences of setbacks and peaks. I am "eager" to throw myself into Global Surgery, however, there are a few of individual limitations (specialty，family) -- actually because of my timidity. I have to select staying by now. I am interested in scientific researches and prefer to try any multi-disciplinary studies, although it seems impossible to be an excellent clinical scientist. I love my enterprise and have always been ready to help my patients, while with a strong prediction of the impending doom rooted in the whole Chinese Medical System. Recently, I am hooked on the Internet Communication of medical humanities, medical education, and public health. All in all, I have been facing my life optimistically and viewing the world pessimistically. And I firmly believe what I will do is the right thing for patients.
