Xia Geng

Xia Geng received the master’s degree in computer application technology from the Shandong University of Science and Technology, in 2007. She is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree with the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Shandong Agricultural University, Tai’an, Shandong, China, where she is also an Associate Professor with the School of Information Science and Engineering. In the recent years, she has hosted or participated in many projects, including hosted one project of the Institute of Remote Sensing and Digital Earth of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and one open topic of the National Agricultural Information Engineering Technology Research Center. As a Key Personnel, she participated in three 863 sub-projects, two projects of National Surveying and Mapping Geographic Information Bureau, and one major agricultural application technology innovation project in Shandong. She has published over 30 journal or conference articles. Her research topics include the theory and application of Petri net, and the study of precision agriculture and information technology.
