Wu Xiao-Cheng

XIAO-CHENG WU is currently a Professor of Epidemiology Program at School of Public Health, LSU Health Sciences Center, and Director, Louisiana Tumor Registry. He has worked with LTR for over 20 years with extensive experience not only in registry operations but also in using registry data and the infrastructure for cancer research. Under my leadership, the LTR has established needed legislative rules and built infrastructures to obtain timely and accurate cancer data thru electronic pathology reporting and collect patient-reported data. He has served as the PI or Co-PI for over numerous research studies, including several patient-reported Health-Related Quality of life studies, such as NCI-, AHRQ, or PCORI-funded AYA-HOPE study, MY-Health Study, and CEASAR study. He has published over 160 manuscripts on health disparities in cancer and socioeconomic determinants of quality of cancer care in peer-reviewed journals.
