Tingfan Wu

Tingfan Wu (S’07–M’13) received the Ph.D. degree from the University of California, San Diego, CA, USA, in 2013. From 2013 to 2015, he was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Institute of Human and Machine Cognition, Pensacola, FL, USA, where he worked on perception and control algorithms on multiple humanoid robots including Boston Dynamics Atlas, NASA Valkyrie, and Sandia Bipeds. His major research interests include the applications of machine learning techniques in computer vision and robotics problems. He currently leads the computer vision team in UmboCV applying machine learning to video surveillance systems.
