My research is mainly focused on malignant pleural effusions (MPE) in terms of the immune microenvironment investigation using digital pathologic tools and nanostring high throughput gene analysis as well as prognostic and predictive markers development. I am also working on 3D in vitro drug screening system development for MPE chemo-/immuno- therapy sensitivity testing. My research background includes pharmacy, digital pathology, stem cell biology, cancer biology, cancer immunology, and bioinformatics.
