RESEARCH SUMMARY
Dr. Doyle works and collaborates with neuroscientists at NYU Medical Center, NYU, and at other institutions studying basic clinical related neuroscience as well as translational research to understand the etiology of seizures and to improve the medical and surgical treatment of epilepsy. He is also involved with bioengineers at NYU-Poly Technique developing state of the art monitoring and therapeutic devices for the treatment of epilepsy. His current research interests involves the understanding of seizure manifestation and propagation to help determine surgical planning to alter the epileptic physiology of the brain with surgery. Other research interests include studying brain networks defined with functional and effective brain connectivity.
