个人简介
Dr. Wenqi (Wendy) Guo is a guest researcher in the Heat Transfer and Alternative Energy Systems Group of the Energy and Environment Division (EED) of the Engineering Laboratory (EL) at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). Dr. Guo joined the Heat Transfer and Alternative Energy Systems Group as a guest researcher in March 2009. Her current research efforts aim to evaluate the reliability of applying low data rate wireless sensor networks in buildings and to provide building occupants a set of measurement techniques to assess the performance of a wireless sensor system. Her research projects are focused on 1) Interference impacts on ZigBee based wireless sensor communication, interference mapping, interference avoidance; (2) Energy-efficient wireless sensor communication, battery lifetime, battery discharge characters; (3) Wireless Sensor Network Testbed for Building Automation and Control Systems.
Dr. Guo completed her Ph.D. thesis at New Jersey Institute of Technology in December 2010. Her thesis is titled "Performance of Wireless Networks under a Variety of Interference Sources in Intelligent Buildings."
Dr. Guo is a member of The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). She also served as an active reviewer for many IEEE Journals and Conferences.
