Wei Wu(吴玮)

Wei Wu received the M.D. and Ph.D. degrees. She is a Chief Physician and the Director of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, PLA Strategic Support Force Characteristic Medical Center. She is also the Director of the State Environmental Protection Key Laboratory of Environmental Sense Organ Stress and Health, China. Her research topics include mechanism, diagnosis, and the treatment of laryngopharyngeal reflux disease (LPRD) and gastroesophageal airway reflux disease. She is a standing member of the Otolaryngology Branch, China Association for the Promotion of International Exchange of Medical Care, where she is also a standing member of the Gastroesophageal Reflux Multi-Disciplinary Branch. She is the Vice Chairman of the Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery Professional Committee of PLA. She is a winner of a special allowance of the State Council.
