Weijun Duan(段维军)

My main interest lies in the identification and detection of fungi, especially plant pathogenic fungi. I am interested in intra- and inter-species variation, and how this relates to identification and detection method for those alien fungi. I actively pursue integrating DNA data with morphology. My main aim is to determine the genetic variation within species and populations, and to develop molecular tools enabling the rapid detection of such pathogens with relation to quarantine and trade.
