Dr. Khan has developed several unique analytical models for the fluid flow and heat transfer across single cylinders (circular/elliptical), tube banks and pin-fin heat sinks to Newtonian and Non-Newtonian fluids. His research interests include energy, thermal power plants, modeling and optimization of forced convection heat transfer from tube banks and micro-channel heat sinks, thermal system optimization using entropy generation minimization and genetic algorithm, mixed convection, nanofluids. Dr. Khan has more than 200 publications in refereed journals and international conferences.
