Walter F. Miller

Walter F. Miller received the B.S. degree in meteorology from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, Lowell, in 1979, the M.S. degree in atmospheric science from Creighton University, Omaha, NE, in 1982, and the M.S. degree in applied physics and computer science from Christopher Newport University, Newport News, VA, in 2008. From 1979 to 1996, he was a Weather Officer in the U.S. Air Force. For the last four years, he has been a Senior Engineer supporting the Clouds and Earth's Radiant Energy System (CERES) Data Management Team through Science Systems and Applications, Inc., Hampton, VA. Previously, he was a Scientific Programmer on the CERES project through Science Application International Corporation. His research interest is in data fusion of various satellite-borne remote sensing instruments.
