Bio
William J. Godinez (M’06) received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in information technology and computer science from International University, Bruchsal, Germany, in 2005 and 2007, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in computer science from the University of Heidelberg, Germany, in 2013. From 2006 to 2015, he was a Research Assistant with the Biomedical Computer Vision Group, BIOQUANT Center, University of Heidelberg, and also affiliated with the Department of Bioinformatics and Functional Genomics, Institute of Pharmacy and Molecular Biotechnology, University of Heidelberg, and the Division of Theoretical Bioinformatics, German Cancer Research Center. He is a Post-Doctoral Fellow with the Novartis Institutes for Biomedical Research, Basel, Switzerland. His research interests include probabilistic methods for tracking and motion analysis of subcellular structures in fluorescence microscopy image sequences.
