I am a medical physicist and I worked in the National Health Service for over 40 years. In 2017, I retired as Head of Medical Physics and Clinical Engineering in the Cardiff and Vale University Health Board. The responsibilities of the post included the provision of a wide range of clinical, scientific and technical services. I hold an honorary academic position and been involved with clinical research and the teaching and training of a variety of students and healthcare professionals.
