个人简介
Vincent Schneider received the bachelor's and master's degrees in biomimetics from the University of Applied Sciences, Bremen, Germany, in 2015 and 2017, respectively.
While focusing on computational fluid dynamic analysis of flying fish's gliding flight for wing in ground effect craft in his bachelor, he developed a fish-inspired fin propulsion system for a micro remotely operated vehicle using additive manufacturing. Within five years with the Fraunhofer Center for Maritime Logistics and Service (Fraunhofer CML), Hamburg, Germany, he gained valuable experience in coordinating scientific projects such as RoboVaaS and strengthened his hardware developing skills by leading the design, integration, and validation of two custom-built ASVs. Within this work, he deepened his knowledge about additive manufacturing and was leading the installation of a laboratory for autonomous systems at Fraunhofer CML's new facilities and is currently the head of that laboratory. His focus is to spark innovative ideas and take the lead in research projects while improving innovation speed and reduce development cycles for prototype development with the initiated facilities.
