• At Amgen, I serve as a Clinical Pharmacology Oncology Therapeutic Area (TA) Group Leader & provide strategic & scientific leadership to team of PhD level scientists (team of direct reports including Scientists, Senior Scientists, Principal Scientists, & Senior Principal Scientists) responsible for providing Clinical Pharmacology, Modeling and Simulation leadership to the global drug development teams for Oncology TA. I also lead a group of experts as direct reports in Mechanistic-PBPK Modeling & Simulation. I also serve on the Amgen, San Francisco site leadership as an Extended Leadership Team member. • I have 18+ years of industry new drug development clinical pharmacology & pharmacometrics experience for both small molecule drugs & therapeutic proteins/innovative novel modalities across TAs of oncology, inflammation, & cardiovascular/metabolic diseases from global biopharmaceuticals Amgen, Bristol-Myers Squibb, & Dr. Reddy's Laboratories. I have significant contributions to global filings & approvals of following marketed small molecule & therapeutic protein drugs across TAs: Saxagliptin (ONGLYZA®), Saxagliptin & Metformin IR & XR (KOMBOGLYZE® & KOMBIGLYZE XR®), Apixaban (ELIQUIS®), Carfilzomib (KYPROLIS®), & Blinatumomab (BLINCYTO®). • I received training as a pharmacist & earned my PhD from the University of Maryland in Pharmacokinetics/Pharmacodynamics & Biopharmaceutics. I serve on the Editorial Boards of the journal Clinical Pharmacology & Therapeutics (CPT), the Journal of Clinical Pharmacology (JCP), & the journal Clinical Pharmacokinetics (Clin Pharmacokin). I am a Regent of the American College of Clinical Pharmacology and a Fellow of the American College of Clinical Pharmacology (FCP). I am the Amgen representative of IQ Consortium Clinical Pharmacology Leadership Group. I also serve as an Affiliate Assistant Professor at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy & Industry Advisory Board Member of the Washington State University, College of Pharmacy Pharmaceutical Sciences. I have authored 45+ peer-reviewed scientific journal article publications & 52+ scientific abstracts/presentations in the field of clinical pharmacology & pharmacometrics.
